One of our infomercial product testers recently ordered the Tony Little Gazelle Edge straight from the infomercial for just $74.99 and chose rush delivery. Typically the Gazelle takes about 4-6 weeks with standard delivery, but in this case the free rush delivery brought it in 12 days. Included in the box were the actual Gazelle Edge exercise machine (with built on workout computer), along with an instructional DVD and lifetime warranty. Our tester, Melissa, reported that Tony Little's Gazelle took her only 15 minutes to assemble, requiring just a screwdriver and clevis wrench. After giving it a 30 minute initial test, she reported the Gazelle has a very sturdy construction, and it's very easy on the knees, reducing overall joint impact.
One of the few issues our tester pointed out about the Gazelle Edge is about the workout computer built onto the device, which she felt wasn't too accurate. The meter measures things such as your steps, calories burned, miles completed and acts as a timer. Our tester found that the various readings continued going even when the arms weren't swinging, making it a less accurate measure. The meter swings with the bars while you're moving making it harder to read your stats. Our tester also felt the workout she got was good, but it didn't target the entire body like the product claims to, mainly just the biceps and legs, but not the abdominals as much.
Overall, our tester was pleased with the Tony Little Gazelle Edge product so far at the price she paid, feels it's a great alternative to a treadmill and is much quieter for apartment situations. This review will be updated as more info becomes available about our tester's experiences with the product.
